Questions
Common qustions, answered
What can urgent (immediate) care treat?
Our walk-in immediate care handles non-emergency issues like the flu, COVID, sore throats, sinus infections, UTIs, allergies, minor cuts and burns, sprains, rashes, and stomach bugs. For life-threatening emergencies such as chest pain or severe bleeding, call 911.
Do you see children and families?
Yes. Most AllCare providers are trained in family medicine and can see children as well as adults, so your whole family can be cared for in one place.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you are using insurance, and a list of any medications you take. If you have relevant medical records or history, bring those too so your provider has the full picture.
How do I become a new patient?
Just book online or walk into any clinic, with no referral required. We will set up your chart at your first visit, and if you want ongoing care we will match you with a primary care provider.
Is AllCare an urgent care or an emergency room?
AllCare is urgent and immediate care, not an emergency room. We treat non-emergency conditions same-day, often at a lower cost than an ER. For life-threatening emergencies such as chest pain, severe bleeding, or difficulty breathing, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
How much does a visit cost without insurance?
We publish our self-pay prices up front: a standard office visit is $140, an annual physical is $220, and a school or sports physical starts at $40. See our self-pay rates page for pricing by visit type.
What insurance does AllCare Georgia accept?
We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Tricare, among others. As a member of the Piedmont Clinic network, we bill under Piedmont's payer contracts. Check your specific plan when you book, or see our insurance page for the most common insurance list.
How long will I wait if I walk in?
Wait times depend on the time of day and which clinic you visit, but our extended hours across 15 locations help spread demand so you are seen quickly. To minimize your wait, book online or check in ahead and arrive at your slot.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Both work. Walk-ins are welcome for urgent and immediate care at all 15 clinics, with no appointment or referral needed. Booking online ahead of time means a shorter wait once you arrive.
What are your hours?
Every AllCare location is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 2pm. The extended evening and weekend hours mean you can be seen around work and school.
How do I book an appointment at AllCare Georgia?
You can book online in about a minute, call us at 844-779-7026, or walk into any of our 15 metro Atlanta clinics. Same-day appointments are available, and no referral is needed.
