About This Provider.
Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Ngigi began her nursing journey at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri, earning her Associate of Science in Nursing. She completed her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Dr. Ngigi earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
Dr. Ngigi has worked across public health, family medicine, and inpatient rehabilitation care. She has also served as a registered nurse on medical-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and sub-acute units.
Outside of work, Dr. Ngigi enjoys spending time with her family, reading historical books, traveling, and hiking. She is married to her husband of 21 years and is the mother of two university-aged children.
