Meet Dr. Joanne So

Born and raised in Georgia. Dr. So graduated *summa cum laude with honors* from the University of Georgia in Athens. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Georgia Campus, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Northside Gwinnett Family Medicine Residency in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Dr. So's clinical focus is preventive care. She works to build long-term relationships with patients and guide them toward healthier lives. One patient newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes chose lifestyle changes over medication. Through consistent effort and counseling, the patient reversed their diabetes and regained energy.

Outside of work, Dr. So enjoys spending time with her poodle, baking, reading, and picnics with friends and family.
